Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to antepartum, triage, labor, postpartum, and newborn patients
Manage and administer medications including Pitocin, insulin, and antibiotics
Monitor fetal and maternal status during labor and delivery
Collaborate with charge nurse and multidisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
Utilize Alaris IV pumps and other medical equipment
Participate in open-book exams during orientation to ensure competency

Qualifications

At least 1 year of LDRP or labor and delivery experience
Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Ability to pass a 90% open-book exam during orientation
Willingness to adhere to the artificial nail policy (no artificial nails in patient care areas)
Valid driver's license within 50-mile radius for on-call requirements

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in LDRP nursing including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care
Proficient in managing IV drips and pumps (Alaris)
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Knowledge of newborn care and resuscitation
