End Date: 09-10-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 8-hour shifts, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM, varied with possible weekend rotation, day off during week after weekend shift

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive physical therapy to diverse inpatient populations including med/surg, telemetry, ICU, oncology, and cardiology
Specialize in orthopedic and total joint rehabilitation
Deliver therapy to ventilated patients in the ICU
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Hit the ground running with minimal orientation, demonstrating autonomy and clinical expertise

Qualifications

At least 2 years of recent acute care physical therapy experience required
Active California PT license and BLS certification
Experience with orthopedic and total joints, ICU, and ventilated patients
Proficiency with Cerner EMR
Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced hospital environment

Knowledge & Skills

Acute care physical therapy
Orthopedic and total joint rehabilitation
ICU and ventilated patient management
Med/surg, oncology, and cardiology patient populations
Cerner EMR proficiency
Comfortable floating between inpatient and outpatient as needed
