Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
• Implement and evaluate nursing interventions with precision
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management
• Transcribe and execute physician orders and protocols
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure seamless care
• Delegate tasks appropriately and supervise ancillary personnel
• Provide direct, compassionate nursing care in a fast-paced ER setting

Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license from the State of Wyoming (or compact state) in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of recent ER nursing experience
• Current BLS certification (or obtain within 60 days)
• Current ACLS certification (or obtain within 6 months)
• Current PALS certification (or obtain within 6 months)
• Current NRP certification (or obtain within 6 months)
• TNCC certification required (or obtain within 6 months)
• De-escalation program certification within 6 months

Education

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Strong communication and active listening abilities
• Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking
• Effective time management and prioritization
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in electronic medical records (Point Click EMR)
• Ethical and legal accountability in all aspects of care
