Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to cardiopulmonary telemetry and neuro patients
Monitor and interpret EKGs, recognizing arrhythmias and changes in patient status
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment, and discharge planning
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with unit protocols

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in telemetry or neuro unit
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Ability to interpret EKGs and pass Prophecy Dysrhythmia exam
Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in cardiac monitoring and telemetry
Knowledge of neurological assessments and interventions
Comfortable with high-flow oxygen and ventilator management
Expertise in patient assessment and prioritization
