Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population including PCU, Med/Surg, and Oncology patients
Administer chemotherapy and monitor for adverse reactions
Titrate intravenous drips such as heparin and cardizem as ordered
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and social workers
Float to same-level-of-care units as needed
Participate in hourly rounding to enhance patient experience

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state required
Minimum 1 year of recent PCU and/or Oncology nursing experience
Chemotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC) required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
First-time travelers welcome!
Must live outside 50-mile radius from facility

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in EPIC electronic medical records
Experience with cardiac and chemotherapy drips
Ability to handle a mixed unit with 1:4 to 1:6 ratios
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Comfortable with ventilator and hemodynamic monitoring (training available)
