Location: Garrison, North Dakota

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend and major holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Serve as charge nurse, overseeing daily operations of the long-term care unit
Administer medications accurately and safely to residents
Perform wound care and monitor healing progress
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care
Document patient assessments and interventions in EMR (Matrix)

Qualifications

Active and unencumbered RN license in North Dakota or compact state
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Minimum 1 year of long-term care experience
Ability to pass meds and perform wound care independently
Comfortable acting as charge nurse without direct supervision

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in long-term care nursing and geriatric patient management
Proficient in medication administration and wound care
Familiarity with common LTC diagnoses: heart disease, diabetes, dementia
Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
Ability to work autonomously in a small facility setting
