Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, including rotating weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide critical respiratory care to adult and neonatal patients, including ventilator management and ABG analysis
Set up and monitor BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen devices
Administer nebulizer treatments and assist with conscious sedation and cardioversion procedures
Support intubations and manage airways alongside the healthcare team
Collaborate with lead therapists and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active Washington State Respiratory Therapist license required
RRT or CRT credential with current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Must have strong NICU experience with Level 2 nursery, including bubble CPAP for 32-week and older neonates
Proven ventilator skills (PB 980, Philips V60, Respironics Lumis) and ability to independently draw ABGs
Comfortable working night shifts and picking up one holiday per assignment

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in ventilator setup and management for adult and neonatal patients
Experienced with BiPAP, CPAP, high-flow oxygen, and nebulizer treatments
Skilled in ABG draws, conscious sedation, and cardioversion standby
Knowledgeable in intubation assistance and emergency respiratory protocols
