Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac and medical conditions
• Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac strips to detect changes in patient status
• Titrate cardiac drips such as Amio, Cardizem, Heparin, and Nitro as ordered
• Collaborate with charge nurses and techs to maintain a 1:4-5 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Float to PCU or MS as needed to support the team and ensure patient safety
• Document accurately in Epic and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team

Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
• BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be current)
• At least 1 year of PCU or telemetry experience
• Comfortable reading and interpreting cardiac strips independently
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Willing to float to PCU, MS, and occasionally ER holds as helping hands

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong telemetry and cardiac monitoring skills
• Proficiency in titrating common cardiac drips
• Experience with Epic electronic health records preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced environment
