Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), weekends required (6-9 per 6-week schedule)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced MS/Tele float pool environment.
Float across multiple units including Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation.
Titrate Heparin drips as needed and manage patient ratios of 1:5-6 based on acuity.
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.
Adapt to different facility locations within Zone 1 (Colorado Springs area) with no home base facility.

Qualifications

Must have 2 years of MS/Tele experience.
Prior neuro experience preferred.
Active RN license in Colorado or compact state.
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
Ability to float within a 60-mile radius and obtain housing that makes this feasible.
Flexible and adaptable to changing assignments and schedules.

Knowledge & Skills

Med-Surg/Telemetry nursing expertise
Cardiac monitoring and Neuro assessment skills
Heparin drip titration proficiency
Charge nurse experience preferred
Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability
