Shift Type: 40 hours per week, schedule to be determined based on department needs

Candidate Pay Rate: $76 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality PET/CT scans to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals per protocol
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures
Review images for quality and accuracy, collaborating with radiologists as needed
Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance
Adhere to radiation safety standards and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or ARRT (N) required
Valid California state license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Current BLS certification
Experience with PET/CT imaging preferred
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of PET/CT imaging protocols and techniques
Proficiency in radiopharmaceutical preparation and administration
Understanding of radiation safety and ALARA principles
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Familiarity with PACS and EHR systems
