Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, Days/Nights rotating, includes weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to PCU/IMC patients across multiple specialties including cardiac, neuro, oncology, and more
Manage and titrate cardiac drips, insulin, ativan, and heparin with confidence
Float within a 60-mile zone covering several facilities in Colorado Springs and surrounding areas
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to different unit environments and patient populations

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/IMC experience required
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Experience with cardiac drips, insulin, ativan, and heparin management
Comfortable titrating drips and managing complex patients
Neuro and Epic experience highly preferred
Willingness to float across multiple facilities within a 60-mile zone

Knowledge & Skills

PCU/IMC nursing skills
Cardiac drip management and titration
Insulin and ativan administration
Heparin management
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certified
Neuro experience preferred
Epic EHR experience preferred
