Location: Bismarck, North Dakota

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to post-operative patients including total joint replacements, spinal surgeries, urology procedures, and abdominal surgeries
Monitor and manage surgical drains, PCA pumps, heparin drips, and TPN
Collaborate with charge nurse and interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and quality care
Perform bedside shift report to ensure continuity of care
Float to medical and telemetry units as needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS certification from AHA
Prefer surgical experience, post-op, and early ambulation experience
Open to first-time travelers

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of surgical patient care, including drain management, PCA pumps, and heparin drips
Ability to interpret remote telemetry basics
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to float between units
