Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients across multiple facilities
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret telemetry, and respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications including heparin titration and manage IV therapies
• Float to various units within the zone as needed, adapting quickly to new environments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or compact state
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical Telemetry experience
• Prior neuro experience preferred
• Ability to float to multiple facilities within a 60-mile radius
• Heparin titration experience required
• Strong communication and adaptability skills

• Expertise in medical-surgical nursing and telemetry monitoring
• Cardiac rhythm interpretation and dysrhythmia recognition
• Heparin titration and anticoagulation management
• Neuro assessment and care for stroke patients
• Patient education and family support
• Time management and prioritization in fast-paced settings
