Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, with rotating weekends and holidays as needed. Schedules are released 4-6 weeks in advance.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care to a diverse patient population including cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, and post-surgical cases
• Monitor telemetry and titrate heparin drips as ordered, ensuring patient safety
• Float across multiple facilities within Zone 3, adapting quickly to different units and teams
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Serve as a resource for patient education and discharge planning
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold high standards of clinical excellence

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical Telemetry experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications from AHA
• Experience with heparin titration and telemetry monitoring
• Prior neuro experience strongly preferred
• Ability to float within a 60-mile radius across multiple facilities
• Flexibility to adapt to Just-In-Time scheduling and varied shift assignments

• Strong telemetry interpretation and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency in managing cardiac, neuro, and post-surgical patients
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Comfort with rapid changes in assignment and environment
• Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
