Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process and primary nursing principles
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide patient education
Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech and OBIX systems
Float to other units as needed to support departmental needs

Qualifications

Active Alaska RN license required
Minimum 3 years of Med-Surg nursing experience with strong critical thinking skills
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Experience with Meditech, OBIX, and Pyxis supply stations preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Meditech and OBIX electronic health records
Skilled in using Pyxis supply stations for medication management
Excellent patient assessment and care planning abilities
Strong communication and teamwork skills
