Location: Longmont, Colorado

Start Date: 07-06-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 hours per week, with 6-9 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $75 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients in a 12-bed LDRP unit
Triage and assess patients in labor, ensuring timely interventions
Circulate and recover C-sections in the dedicated OR suite
Administer medications including Pitocin and Magnesium sulfate drips
Monitor fetal heart rates using AWHONN guidelines and C-EFM certification
Support couplet care with ratios of 1:2-3 for mother-baby dyads
Collaborate with a close-knit team to ensure positive birth experiences

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS and NRP certifications required
AWHONN intermediate/advanced or C-EFM certification required
Minimum 1 year of LDRP experience within the last 3 years
Comfortable with triage, circulating, and C-section recovery
Previous travel experience preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Pitocin and Magnesium sulfate infusion management
Knowledge of antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care protocols
Ability to work in a fast-paced, 300-birth-per-year unit
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to adapt to changing unit needs and scheduling
