Location: Dickinson, North Dakota

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), block scheduling, every third weekend, holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients and postpartum mothers and newborns
Monitor and manage oxytocin, magnesium sulfate, and other titratable drips
Assist with cesarean sections by circulating for the baby
Float to the emergency department as needed to provide 1:1 patient sitting
Collaborate with the healthcare team in a rural hospital setting
Ensure patient safety and adherence to AWHONN guidelines for nurse-to-patient ratios

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of LDRP nursing experience required
Current and valid RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Ability to pass fit testing per facility policy
Comfortable working in a rural hospital environment with limited services

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
Proficiency in fetal monitoring using OB Trace Vue
Ability to titrate IV medications including magnesium and oxytocin
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Independence and critical thinking in a remote setting
