Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures using advanced PET/CT and SPECT technology
Administer radiopharmaceuticals and ensure patient safety and comfort
Prepare and calibrate equipment, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images
Review images for technical quality and collaborate with radiologists
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Adhere to radiation safety protocols and use protective equipment

Qualifications

Valid Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) certification
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
PET experience required
DOT certification preferred at start, required within 90 days
Active driver's license for verification of residency outside 50-mile radius
Must be comfortable with artificial nail policy (prohibited in patient care areas)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Siemens PET/CT Biograph Vision and Siemens E.CAMs (training available)
Strong patient care and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Knowledge of radiation safety and ALARA principles
