Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4x10 hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide patient-centered occupational therapy services in an acute rehab setting
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create individualized treatment plans
Assess patient progress and adjust interventions for optimal outcomes
Document patient care using Cerner EMR system
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety
Participate in weekend rotation every 3rd weekend

Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience in occupational therapy
Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience
Active California OT license
Current BLS certification
Open to first-time travelers

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with Cerner EMR
Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Adaptability to fast-paced rehab environment
