Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (days/nights), 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including weekend shifts as required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients with neurological conditions, including stroke, TBI, and spinal surgery
Monitor and interpret telemetry, titrate IV drips such as Amio, Cardizem, and Insulin
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
Perform central line dressing changes and Foley catheter insertion with sterile technique
Deliver bedside report and ensure smooth shift transitions
Float to telemetry units or ICU overflow as needed

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent neuro telemetry or critical care experience
BLS and ACLS certification required
Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance
Level 1 trauma experience required
Comfortable with pass/fail SIMs lab on day 1

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in EKG interpretation and telemetry monitoring
Experience with Cerner EMR system
Ability to titrate multiple IV drips safely
Strong understanding of sterile field maintenance
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
