End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling, every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to laboring and postpartum patients, managing mom/baby couplets
Monitor fetal heart tracings using OB Trace Vue and respond to changes
Titrate and manage IV drips such as Magnesium, Oxytocin, and other medications
Assist with neonatal resuscitation and respiratory support including CPAP/BiPap/high flow
Collaborate with surgical team during C-sections, circulating for the baby
Float to other units as needed for patient sitting and helping hands

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Proficiency in EFM interpretation and drip titration
Comfortable working in a rural hospital setting with limited NICU access
Ability to pass fit testing for N95 respirators

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of labor and delivery nursing, including antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care
Skill in titrating IV medications like Oxytocin and Magnesium
Fetal monitoring interpretation using OB Trace Vue
Neonatal resuscitation and respiratory support
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Independence and ability to work with limited resources
