Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality PET/CT imaging procedures to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as prescribed by physicians
Operate advanced imaging equipment while ensuring patient safety and comfort
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to review images and optimize protocols
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Provide compassionate care and education to patients throughout their imaging experience

Qualifications

Valid California state license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Certification by ARRT (N) or NMTCB required
Prior experience in PET/CT imaging preferred
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in PET/CT imaging techniques and protocols
Knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals and radiation safety practices
Competency in operating and troubleshooting imaging equipment
Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
Patient-centered approach with ability to put patients at ease
