Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams using portable and fixed X-ray equipment with care and precision
• Operate fluoroscopy and C-arm systems for diagnostic procedures as needed
• Provide bedside and portable imaging in the Emergency Department, ICU, and trauma settings
• Ensure accurate image capture, proper patient positioning, and radiation safety practices
• Document exams and chart in EPIC thoroughly and promptly
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to support patient diagnosis and care
• Maintain imaging equipment and report issues to biomedical or supervisor promptly
• Respond to on-call requests and support weekend/after-hours imaging needs

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist (new grads not preferred)
• ARRT (Registry) certification required
• BLS certification required
• EPIC experience required for charting and documentation
• Comfortable working nights, on-call duties, and every third weekend rotation
• Preferred: experience in Trauma Level I settings and teaching hospital environments
• Preferred: ODH state licensure (or ability to obtain it) and prior experience with GE/Siemens imaging systems

Education

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program or equivalent clinical training

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient with GE and Siemens imaging equipment
• Experience with PACS and EPIC charting systems
• Skilled in portable X-ray, fixed diagnostic X-ray, and diagnostic fluoroscopy
• Familiarity with C-arm and mini C-arm procedures
• Comfortable performing bedside/mobile radiology in acute care and emergency settings
• Strong patient communication, positioning, and radiation safety practices
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced trauma and emergency environment
