Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients' communication and swallowing abilities using evidence-based assessment tools
Develop individualized treatment plans that address functional goals and family priorities
Deliver skilled therapy sessions that engage patients and track measurable progress
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate holistic care
Educate patients, families and caregivers on strategies to support communication and safety at home
Document assessments, treatment plans and progress notes clearly and timely
Participate in orientation and ongoing training to maintain high standards of care

Qualifications

Licensed or license-eligible Speech-Language Pathologist in Missouri (or able to obtain licensure)
ASHA CCC-SLP preferred or equivalent clinical certification
Experience working with pediatric and/or specialty populations is a plus
Current CPR/BLS certification (if required by facility)
Strong interpersonal and documentation skills, with a patient-centered approach

Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required for clinical licensure)

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in speech, language, cognition and swallowing evaluation and intervention
Comfortable creating measurable, functional treatment goals
Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
Strong clinical reasoning and flexible treatment planning
Familiarity with electronic medical records and clinical documentation
