Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents' speech, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans that are meaningful and measurable
• Implement evidence-based therapy and adapt approaches to each resident
• Document clinical progress accurately and timely in the facility's EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident outcomes
• Participate in team meetings and family/caregiver education to promote carryover
• Maintain productivity expectations and follow CRG policies and procedures
• Present professionally on-site (black scrubs dress code) and be present to receive guaranteed hours

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of SLP experience (SNF/skilled nursing experience a plus)
• Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure in New Mexico
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills across speech, language and swallowing
• Comfortable working in a skilled nursing facility and collaborating with a therapy team
• Ability to meet productivity expectations and follow facility and CRG policies
• Excellent communication, documentation and time-management skills

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Assessment and treatment of dysphagia and other adult communication disorders
• Skilled documentation and experience with electronic medical records
• Interdisciplinary collaboration and resident-centered care planning
• Ability to prioritize caseloads and manage time efficiently
• Familiarity with SNF practice standards and regulatory expectations
