Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents in the rehab center
• Perform clinical assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document in the chart
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate safe patient care
• Monitor resident condition, escalate concerns, and support transitions of care
• Maintain infection control standards and a safe environment for residents
• Communicate effectively with residents and families to provide clear updates and compassionate support

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in New Mexico
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred where applicable
• Minimum clinical experience in long-term care, rehab, or acute care preferred
• Ability to work night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM) and float within the facility
• Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass background and drug screening
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and care planning
• Medication administration and safe documentation practices
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) charting
• Infection prevention and control practices
• Skilled at patient/family education and compassionate communication
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and function well in a fast-paced clinical setting
