Roles & Responsibilities

Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process and primary nursing principles.
Adhere to departmental and hospital policies and standards of nursing practice.
Utilize critical thinking to provide high-quality patient care in a Med Surg setting.
Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Active Alaska state RN license required.
Minimum of 3 years Med-Surg background with strong critical thinking skills.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Experience with Meditech, OBIX, and Pyxis preferred.
Willingness to complete hospital-specific training and medication testing upon arrival.

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in nursing process and patient care planning
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Med Surg unit
Competent with Meditech, OBIX, and Pyxis systems
