Shift Type: 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), rotating days and nights; schedule predetermined by leadership for 6 weeks; 6-9 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule; holiday rotation may be required

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients in a 12-bed LDRP unit
• Triage patients and manage labor, delivery, and recovery
• Circulate and recover C-sections in a dedicated OR suite
• Care for couplets (mother-baby) with AWHONN-guided ratios
• Administer Pitocin and magnesium sulfate drips as ordered
• Cross-train to care for overflow mastectomy patients (typically short stays)
• Collaborate with a supportive team to ensure positive patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
• BLS certification required
• AWHONN intermediate or advanced, or C-EFM certification required
• NRP certification required
• Minimum 1 year of LDRP experience within the last 3 years
• Proven triage experience
• Comfortable circulating and recovering C-sections
• Prior travel experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in LDRP nursing including labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care
• Skilled in fetal monitoring and interpreting EFM strips
• Proficient in circulating for C-sections and recovery
• Strong triage and assessment abilities
• Ability to manage Pitocin and magnesium sulfate infusions
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Adaptable to a fast-paced, dynamic environment
