Nurse Manager - Cath Lab and ICU

Location: Garden City, KS

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with 24/7 on-call rotation including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $102 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee clinical operations and staff in both the Cath Lab and ICU departments
Provide pre- and post-procedure care, bedside procedure support, and moderate sedation
Enhance nursing competency and foster a positive, collaborative unit culture
Manage staffing schedules and ensure appropriate resources for patient care
Support and mentor nursing staff to deliver high-quality outcomes

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas or compact state
Minimum 3 years of RN experience
At least 1 year of management experience in a clinical setting
At least 1 year of clinical leadership experience
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, RCIS, NIHSS, TNCC, CRRT (or willingness to obtain)
Willing to consider candidates who meet most requirements but may lack a few certs

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical leadership and management abilities
Expertise in critical care, telemetry, and cath lab procedures
Proficiency in moderate sedation and vasoactive drip titration
Excellent communication, team-building, and mentoring skills
Fluoro license (for technical staff) preferred
