Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care during overnight hours
• Perform thorough assessments and deliver safe medication administration
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update care plans
• Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
• Respond to emergencies and prioritize patient safety
• Support patient and family education with clarity and empathy

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license (RN/LPN) — RN preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications encouraged
• Clinical experience in acute care or similar settings preferred
• Current RN/LPN credentials, up-to-date immunizations, and ability to pass background checks and drug screening
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently overnight

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and monitoring
• Medication administration and IV management
• Electronic medical record charting and documentation
• Clinical judgment and critical thinking during overnight shifts
• Team communication and handoff best practices
• Infection control and safety protocols
