Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to adults in the assigned unit
• Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate excellent patient care
• Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, care plans, and discharge instructions
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and documentation requirements

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in good standing; LPN candidates with appropriate licensure are also welcome
• Current BLS certification required; additional certifications (ACLS, PALS) encouraged where applicable
• Prior acute care or relevant clinical experience preferred
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Professional, patient-focused attitude and strong communication skills

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, diploma, or BSN). LPNs: completion of an accredited practical nursing program.

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong assessment and clinical decision making skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
• Experience with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients in a fast-paced setting
• Teamwork, adaptability, and clear communication with patients and staff
