Roles & Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with hospital policy and state practice act
• Document patient care accurately and timely according to standards
• Develop and carry out individualized patient care plans and provide patient/family education
• Participate in unit performance and quality improvement initiatives, including shared governance activities
• Provide clinical guidance and escalate safety or care concerns through the appropriate chain of command
• Float to other units as needed to support patient care continuity

Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license
• CPR/BLS certification
• Current influenza vaccination (required)
• Experience working 12-hour night shifts
• Ability and willingness to float to other units when required
• Strong documentation and patient assessment skills
