Radiologic Technologist - OR/Fluoroscopy
Location: Seattle, WA

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating day shifts (day), typically 4x10 schedule with variable starts between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM — typical example shift 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM; weekends as needed; on-call and holiday coverage as required
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform general radiography and portable x-rays with accuracy and patient-centered care
- Operate fluoroscopy equipment during inpatient and outpatient procedures
- Provide intraoperative imaging in the OR using C-arm and O-arm systems
- Rotate across clinic areas weekly (general x-ray, fluoro, ortho clinic, ER, CCU and OR coverage) to ensure continuous patient care
- Maintain digital imaging and charting using PACS, Cerner PowerChart and GE Centricity
- Ensure radiation safety, proper patient positioning and image quality on every study
- Respond to trauma and emergent imaging needs in collaboration with radiologists and the surgical team
- Participate in unit orientation and teamwork to support smooth clinical operations
Qualifications
- ARRT certification (required)
- Washington State Radiologic Technologist license required at time of submittal
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Minimum 1 year of radiography experience; traveler expected to cover all areas
- Proven experience operating C-arm and O-arm in OR/fluoroscopy settings
- ER experience preferred
- Ability to float between multiple areas, adapt to weekly rotations and work weekends/call as needed
- Agency must provide traveler Rad Badge
Education
- ARRT certification and completion of an accredited radiologic technologist program
- Washington State radiology licensure (required)
- BLS certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency with general radiography, fluoroscopy, portable imaging and OR imaging workflows
- Experience with Philips DR/CR systems and GE DR portable units
- Familiarity with C-arm systems (Ziehm, GE/OEC) and Siemens O-arm
- Comfortable using PACS, RIS, Cerner PowerChart, GE Centricity and Philips Intellispace
- Strong patient communication, positioning and radiation safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
