Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs with attention to detail
Administer medications and treatments safely and document care accurately
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient-centered care
Provide clear and compassionate patient and family education to support recovery
Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately
Maintain accurate electronic medical record documentation and handoffs

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license in California required
Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS preferred
Comfortable with med-surg/telemetry environments; 1+ year clinical experience preferred
Current RN professional liability coverage or ability to obtain per facility requirements
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Patient assessment and critical thinking
Medication administration and IV therapy
Telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Electronic health record charting
Patient/family education and discharge planning
Teamwork, time management, and prioritization
