Shift Type: Tuesday-Wednesday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC

Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients as a confident and attentive CNA
Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting)
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes promptly
Document patient care accurately and communicate observations to the nursing team
Support safe patient transfers and mobility, following proper body mechanics
Help create a calming, respectful environment for patients and families
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver consistent, high-quality care

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
Current basic life support (BLS) or CPR certification preferred where applicable
Comfortable working overnight/night shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Ability to follow care plans, document accurately, and prioritize patient safety
Previous experience as a CNA preferred but dedicated new CNAs with strong skills are welcome

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of patient safety protocols and infection control
Skill in taking and documenting vital signs accurately
Ability to assist with ADLs and patient mobility safely
Familiarity with electronic documentation or willingness to learn
Strong observational skills and professional bedside manner
