Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered outpatient physical therapy evaluation and treatment to improve function and quality of life
• Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based interventions
• Perform skilled therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and functional training
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries clearly and on time
• Collaborate with clinic staff and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families on home programs, injury prevention, and self-management
• Participate in quality improvement activities and maintain competency through required testing and checklists

Qualifications

• Current, active Oregon Physical Therapy license (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred
• Willingness to cover occasional Saturdays (approximately 2 per 13-week period)
• Ability to complete required verifications and health screenings (license/certificate verification, fit test, drug screen, color vision, vaccinations, 2-step PPD or IGRA, physical/health statement)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong outpatient assessment and treatment skills
• Skilled in therapeutic exercise prescription and manual therapy techniques
• Excellent patient education and motivational skills
• Solid documentation and charting abilities
• Good communication and teamwork when working with interdisciplinary staff
• Comfortable working with typical outpatient clinic equipment and modalities
