Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients — bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance
• Monitor and record vital signs and patient status accurately and promptly
• Support the nursing team by reporting changes, following care plans, and assisting with procedures
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols
• Assist with patient transfers and safe positioning to promote comfort and prevent injury
• Document care in an organized, timely manner and communicate clearly with interdisciplinary team members

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Current immunizations and ability to pass required health screenings
• Background check and drug screening clearance as required
• Comfortable with overnight shifts and working as part of a fast-paced team
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred; completed CNA training program required

Knowledge & Skills

• Fundamentals of direct patient care and bedside manner
• Ability to take and accurately record vital signs
• Familiarity with infection prevention and safe patient handling
• Basic charting and documentation skills
• Teamwork, time management, and the ability to prioritize tasks
• Compassionate communication with patients and families
