Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs, report changes promptly to the nursing team
Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and mobility support
Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient care and observations
Support infection control practices and keep the care environment safe
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent patient-centered care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Active authorization to work in the state of California as applicable
Comfortable with 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
Willingness to complete facility onboarding requirements (background check, immunizations, TB screening) as required
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA training program (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Experience with patient hygiene, feeding, and toileting assistance
Proficiency taking and documenting vital signs
Basic infection prevention and safety practices
Good observational skills to notice and report patient changes
Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to follow care plans and direction from nursing staff
