Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating days including weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care on a fast-paced Med/Surg Telemetry unit
Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond to changes promptly
Perform wound care, bowel programs, and light burn care as needed
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of recent acute care Med/Surg experience
Current BLS certification (AHA)
Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
ACLS certification preferred
Experience with spinal cord injury patients is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in telemetry monitoring
Wound care and basic burn care skills
Comfortable with Meditech EMR
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to manage a busy patient load with a positive attitude
