Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating days including weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide post-operative assessments and care for surgical patients
Manage pain control including PCA pumps and epidurals
Perform Foley catheter maintenance and continuous bladder irrigation (CBI)
Deliver compassionate care to patients recovering from prostatectomy and hysterectomy
Collaborate with a team-oriented unit to ensure excellent patient outcomes

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Med/Surg experience
Active BLS certification (AHA)
Experience with GYN/Onc, Urology, and Meditech preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong med/surg nursing skills
Proficient in post-op care and pain management
Team player with a compassionate, flexible attitude
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
