Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, rotating weekends as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate post-operative care to a diverse patient population
Perform thorough assessments and monitor patient progress
Manage pain through PCA and epidural administration
Collaborate with surgeons and a dedicated team to ensure optimal outcomes
Educate patients and families on recovery and self-care

Qualifications

At least 1 year of current acute care Med/Surg experience required
BLS certification from AHA or equivalent needed
GYN/Onc and urology experience is a plus
Experience with Meditech EMR preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Compassionate and flexible approach to patient care
Proficiency in post-op care including foley catheter maintenance
