Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (rotating days, typical 3 shifts per week)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to medical-surgical patients, including post-operative burn and flap patients
Perform wound and dressing changes, manage wound vacs and ostomy care
Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and coordinate with the healthcare team
Document patient progress accurately in Meditech EMR
Collaborate with charge nurses, LPNs, and PCTs to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital Med/Surg experience
Current BLS certification (AHA)
Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Meditech EMR system
Experience with wound care, ostomy care, and burn care (preferred)
Knowledge of Hoyer lifts, air taps, wound vacs, and PCA pumps
Strong teamwork and communication skills
ACLS certification preferred
