Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered critical care to ICU patients during night shifts
• Assess, monitor, and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions with clinical confidence
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications, manage ventilators, and perform advanced interventions per unit protocols
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely
• Educate patients and families on condition, plan of care, and discharge needs
• Actively participate in shift handoffs and communicate critical information clearly

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the State of Colorado
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
• Current BLS required
• Current ACLS required
• PALS preferred
• Experience in ICU and med/surg settings preferred; demonstrated critical care skills

Education

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Critical care assessment and patient monitoring
• Med/surg and ICU clinical skills
• Acute cardiac/respiratory management and ACLS protocols
• IV medication administration and infusion management
• Clear clinical documentation and shift handoff communication
• Ability to prioritize under pressure and work collaboratively with a team
