Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 12-hour shifts (5:00 PM - 5:00 AM), schedule varies

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in a 16-bed ICU/CCU unit
Monitor cardiac rhythms, ventilators, and IV pumps
Assist with intubations and central line placements
Collaborate with a dedicated team of RNs, PCTs, and charge nurses
Administer medications and titrate drips as needed
Maintain a 1:2 patient ratio to ensure high-quality care

Qualifications

Current, unrestricted RN license in Colorado (or compact state)
Minimum 1 year of current acute care ICU hospital experience
ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required
Experience with medical ICU and neuro population preferred
Prior Meditech experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
Ability to manage ventilators, cardiac monitors, and IV pumps
Effective teamwork and communication skills
Comfortable with high-acuity patients and rapid changes
