Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and triage emergency patients quickly and compassionately
• Initiate and manage acute interventions following ER protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe care
• Document patient condition, interventions, and responses accurately and timely
• Educate patients and families during high-stress situations with clarity and empathy
• Maintain readiness for trauma, rapid response, and critical care scenarios

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license for California
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support); ACLS and PALS preferred or willing to obtain
• Experience in Emergency Room nursing preferred; open to confident, skilled RNs with ER exposure
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to perform under pressure
• Excellent communication and teamwork mindset

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Triage and emergency assessment techniques
• Cardiac and respiratory monitoring
• IV therapy, medication administration, and wound care
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate charting
• Ability to prioritize care in a fast-paced ER environment
