Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients as assigned
Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility)
Monitor and record vital signs; promptly report changes to the care team
Maintain accurate patient documentation and charting
Support safe patient transfers and use of mobility equipment
Adhere to infection control protocols and facility policies
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
Comfortable working overnight shifts and supporting a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Prior CNA experience in a clinical or long-term care setting preferred

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

Competence in basic nursing care and patient hygiene support
Vital signs measurement and documentation
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Basic charting and electronic documentation familiarity
Infection prevention and control practices
Teamwork, time management, and clear communication with patients and families
