Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on nursing care to patients consistent with LPN scope
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Monitor and document patient vitals, changes in condition, and responses to care
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and the care team to support patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on basic care, medications, and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate, timely medical records and report significant changes promptly
Contribute to a safe, clean, and respectful patient environment

Qualifications

Active LPN license in the state of Georgia (required)
Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
Comfort and ability to work 12.5-hour shifts as scheduled
Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset
Basic computer skills for electronic charting

Education

Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program
High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and basic clinical skills relevant to LPN practice
Medication administration and documentation best practices
Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time on extended shifts
Good interpersonal skills for patient and family education
Awareness of infection control and safety procedures
