Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 12.5-hour shifts; specific start/end times and days to be confirmed by the facility (RN - ICU)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and monitor critically ill patients, adjusting care plans as conditions change
Administer medications and advanced therapies safely and accurately
Operate and manage ventilators and hemodynamic monitoring equipment
Respond rapidly to codes and emergent situations with calm, skilled intervention
Coordinate multidisciplinary care and communicate patient status to the team and families
Document care thoroughly and maintain accurate, timely records in the EHR
Mentor and support colleagues to promote a collaborative ICU environment

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (ability to practice in the U.S.)
Critical care/ICU experience required
BLS required; ACLS and other critical care certifications preferred
Comfort with ventilator management, vasoactive drips, and advanced monitoring
Strong communication skills and a teamwork-first attitude

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) — BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care nursing principles and ventilator management
Hemodynamic monitoring and titration of vasoactive medications
Acute patient assessment and rapid decision-making
Proficient documentation in electronic health records
Patient- and family-centered communication in high-stress situations
Ability to collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and other disciplines
