Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients and support their daily living needs
Assist with hygiene, mobility, feeding, and comfort measures with dignity and respect
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
Accurately document care and observations in the patient record
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver safe, high-quality care

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification for Georgia or ability to obtain prior to start
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or obtained quickly after hire
Clean background check and drug screen as required by the facility
Up-to-date immunizations in line with facility policy
Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, patient-centered attitude

Education

High school diploma or GED and CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Solid fundamentals in patient care and activities of daily living
Basic charting and documentation skills
Ability to follow care plans and directions from licensed nurses
Good communication, teamwork, and time management skills
Safe patient handling and mobility assistance techniques
