Location: Woodsville, NH
Start Date: 05-09-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Rotating 12.5-hour shifts, exact start/end times and days to be confirmed with the facility (12.5-hour shift length, rotating)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $52 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on the Med/Surg unit
- Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
- Monitor patient progress and document changes clearly in the medical record
- Educate patients and families to support recovery and successful discharge
- Respond to changes in patient condition with sound clinical judgment and timely escalation
Qualifications
- Current and active RN license or eligibility to obtain RN licensure in New Hampshire
- Clinical experience or training in Med/Surg nursing
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred or available
- Comfort working 12.5-hour shifts and participating in rotating schedules
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient advocacy skills
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required, BSN preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid Med/Surg assessment and clinical skills
- Medication administration and IV therapy competency
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation best practices
- Basic cardiac rhythm recognition and emergency response readiness
- Prioritization, time management, and patient education skills
